“ A very good and tradicional restaurant in Cabo Frio. A good view to the canal if you seat on the balcony. ”
“ Excellent food and service. Upscale prices though. ”
“ We absolutely loved our meals at Picolino. We ate there for dinner and were greeted by Roberto. He told us he had been working at the restaurant for 40 years. He was so kind, hospitable and attentive. The food we ordered blew us away. We got 3 entrees to share and a main plate big enough for two. Couldn’t fault a thing. Everything was fresh, tasty and delicious. The seafood especially was cooked to perfection. The cocktails were also a standout ! We sat outside on the upper level overlooking the water. It was Romantic and private. A beautiful spot. We had a few more nights in Cabo Frio and went to Arraial do Cabo and Buzios, on our last night we couldn’t help but want to eat our final meal at Picolina. We went for a late lunch as they are not open for dinner on Mondays. We started with 2 entrees and finished with 2 mains. Sharing everything. Was superb. Truly delicious. My partner has been a professional chef for over a decade and traveled all over the world. This place provided a dining experience to remember. The food, the service, the ambience 12/10. Cant speak highly enough of Roberto as well. Thank you Picolino team! ”
“ Relaxed setting in a marina, great service and friendly staff. Really enjoyed the food and had a wonder lemon merengue dessert. ”
“ Incredible seafood. Very good drinks. ”
“ We were pleased to be greeted by an English speaking hostess. The menu is big, so don't be intimidated. Ask the waiter for some advice. The stuffed calamari was a very good choice. Unfortunately they don't serve "Original" beer ”
“ Ordered the langustino risotto, it was ok, but not worth the money. The meat in the langustino was overcooked and the risotto was not anything special. Service was good. ”
“ Delicious food, excellent service I asked a dish with shrimps, and the presentation (inside a pineapple) really surprised me. Delicious! ”
